1- Casas de poliestireno (EPS) + grafeno a medida   En estas imagenes puede verse casas de poliestireno expandido. No me parece mal, ¿verdad? Pero ¿qué habría respondido si le hubiera propuesto la idea de vivir en una casa hecha de poliestireno? Lo más probable es que hubiera pensado que era una broma. El Poliestireno Expandido (EPS, por sus siglas en inglés) es un material plástico con textura esponjosa muy utilizado en diversas áreas tales como el sector de la Construcción, donde es usado principalmente como aislamiento térmico.  También lo podemos encontrar en el campo del envase y embalaje para diferentes sectores de actividad. Este material pertenece a la familia de los termoplásticos, como el poliestireno o el metacrilato.  Es rígido, blanco y espumado. Aproximadamente un 98% del volumen de este material es aire y sólo un 2% materia sólida. Es un material inerte e inocuo que no ataca al medio ambiente o a la salud de las personas y no tiene valor nutricional para hongos, bacterias u otros organismos vivos, por lo que no facilita su aparición. Ventajas de construir  en EPS: El aislamiento, los paneles de 50mm de EPS equivalen a paredes de ladrillo de 30cm de ancho, ya que su coeficiente de conductividad térmica es de 0,04 frente a los 0,40 de los ladrillos. Los paneles de EPS que nosotros utilizamos son de 15 cm de grosos y de 35 kg por m3, altísima densidad. La estructura de la vivienda construida con paneles estructurales de EPS, reduce un 35,22% el peso del edificio. La ejecución de la vivienda con paneles simples de EPS es más rápida que la misma obra edificada con sistemas tradicionales. Este ahorro de tiempo supone aumentar la capacidad productiva sacando más rentabilidad en menos tiempo y el consecuente ahorro en el coste de la mano de obra y de los recursos auxiliares necesarios. El sistema cumple con la normativa vigente actualmente, e incluso supera con notabilidad las características térmicas. Al estar todos los paneles atados entre sí mediante las mallas auxiliares, el edificio trabaja estructuralmente como un mono bloque. Existe un ahorro económico respecto a la obra tradicional de aproximadamente un 25 % en la estructura. Al existir un ahorro en tiempo y coste de ejecución, el futuro usuario de la vivienda se puede aprovechar de estos dos criterios, tanto económicamente como temporalmente. Los paneles de EPS emplean un montaje sencillo y práctico, mediante mallas de acero galvanizado. Los residuos que se crean en una obra son mínimos, al venir dimensionado todo desde la fábrica central. La vivienda produce un ahorro energético ya que, al ser un material aislante térmico el EPS, impide que haya pérdidas de temperaturas entre diferentes ambientes. Ejemplo de casa de 100 m2: Casa 100 m2 X 650 € m2 = 65.000 € Cimentación 100 m2 X 65 € m2 = 6.500 € Total construcción = 65.000 + 6.500 = 71.500€ Arquitecto 10% = 7.150 €. Con proyecto, dirección de obra, visados y seguro de responsabilidad civil. Aparejador 3,5% = 2.502 €. Con dirección de obra, coordinación de seguridad y seguro de responsabilidad civil.
